At 23 she published a book detailing her experience as a model struggling with health and body image issues, and she found herself at the front lines of the weight controversy that continues to plague the fashion industry.
Crystal can frequently be found at fashion industry events, pushing the envelope with her avant-garde red carpet style, like this vampy number she wore at 2012 Launch Week.
